Smriti Mittal founded Sutra Labs to build AI tools for legal work. She holds a B.Tech. in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay, was a Founding Engineer at Spotnana, and has held technology and quantitative roles at J.P. Morgan, Scribe and FinIQ Consulting.
At Sutra Labs, Smriti leads technology strategy, product innovation, and digital transformation. She works closely with clients to design technology-driven legal solutions, evaluate emerging opportunities, and build infrastructure that supports scalable growth. Her role also extends to strategic client engagements: identifying technology requirements, assessing solution fit, and helping shape offerings tailored to client needs.
Her experience spans software engineering, product development, financial technology, and large-scale enterprise systems, bringing a blend of technical excellence and strategic thinking to her work.
